Coming soon to a dog bowl near you
I just thought I would take a moment to let some of the future of woofbarkwag to be known. I’ve always wanted this to become a community and over the next few months will be working more and more on ways of building on the forum, flickr group and other community things. I also have a set of articles worked out which some of the topics I am going to put here. As woofbarkwag has grown it’s become far more loose than I intended and these are all about bringing some structure that you can easily follow using the categories. This will complement not hinder or stop normal posts. I want to polarize some of the areas of a dog into this.
- How does a dog?
I want to look at more and more of the anatomy and biology of how a dog is. One thing I have always been interested in is their different vision, smell and other senses compare to ours. Recently, I’ve also started wanting to know more about what a dog is physically such as bones and organs along with muscles and anatomy. I want to explore this is a range of posts along these subjects. - Training guides.
Building on from what I have been writing about I wanted to put more of a structure to it and build it up from there to give back what I have been taught by so many great people along the way and by so many great dogs. - Why does a dog?
This sort of goes with the How does a dog and I want this to be the psychological flip-side. - Dog tails of readers
I want to make dog tails part of this blog and both in the flickr group, forum and here will make a call for people to submit their dog’s details and stories. I have sorted out a set question format for this and if anyone would like to contact me now I’d welcome it to kick off this little project.
As I said, these are just some of the things I want to develop with woofbarkwag. If you aren’t already a member of the forum dogtails I’d like to invite you to join. You don’t have to own a dog to enjoy woofbarkwag, you just have to like dogs and / or have an interest in them. I want woofbarkwag to be a place people can go to give each other advice and not all about my own voice. I will start feeding more and more from the dogtails forum into the blog and also from the flickr group.
If you haven’t ever commented on woofbarkwag, let me take this moment to invite you to say what you’d like to see or like to read. So, woofbarkwag is being worked on and I’ve got some interesting and I think exciting ideas of what I want to gradually bring in over the next few months and even beyond that. I look forward to hearing what anyone has to say.
