Testing gravity
Dillon has a range of games he plays and one in particular he seems to do a lot of is the gravity testing game. I am sure it has some great doggy name like woof-woof-wag-sniff or something, but to me it’s the gravity testing game. The rules of this game are simple and all you require to do it is 2 toys and a sloping floor.
For those of you wishing to play the gravity testing game let me explain to you how you do so. Firstly, you get the toys and line them up and keep them stable by putting your paws around them while you are stood up. This can be something that requires a bit of practice particularly if your legs appear to be growing every week. Then you remove one paw and let one of the toys roll away. The next stage involves about 2-3 seconds of watching and then before it rolls out too far you bounce and grab it back. After that you have to pause a bit to consider and maybe even have a scratch (Dillon seems to think when he scratches). Just to make the other toy not feel left out you then do the same but with that one. There you have it, that is how to play the gravity testing game.
This game started about 2 months ago and seems to remain a constant top game that is played often during the day. It really does seem to be that he is working out gravity as he experiments with ranges and with different toys in this game. Before he used to just chuck them about, now it’s far more complex than that with the same rules being used for each game. Puppies develop just like children through play and this is just one example of this.

My labradour retriever is 2 months old, has suspected sarcopic or dermadex mite. We are waiting for the test results. One of the problems is that he bites all the time and nips us. I have introduced bones for him to chew on, but still nips. What can you suggest. Thank you
