Have dog will travel? Like to travel on airplanes and get free stuff? Midwest Airlines are now offering doggie bags for the jet set pup. Not one for the doggy freebee packs as generally our two don’t eat their contents; however the allowing dogs to travel in the cabin was of interest to me and seemed great.

A few weeks ago I wrote about the lack of dog first aid training, during my travels I found Pet First Aid Online. It’s an online mini-course you can take and not a bad starting point at all.

Tis the season to get all silly about doggie giving for christmas it seems and to prove it’s not just around this time people go more barking mad, I found what I think is possibly the most absurd doggy gadget Pet Diaper Harness - you may hang your head and fall off your chair in despair / laughing now.

A more general animal psychology article comes from the BBC news site which asks ‘Can animals be brave?‘. It is actually worth a read and gives a scarping of the surface with regards to animal psychology when compared to human traits. One of the best bits about it is the people’s comments though - they always bring a different slant to the bbc articles.

One final news item made me think of a novel training addition to Dillon’s regieme. Apparently,
sniffer dogs are being trained to smell out cash. Wander if I can get him to retrieve from down the back of the sofa - maybe he could be trained to cover his dog food.
